UNLV's College of Business recently announced several reassignments for prominent members of its faculty and staff.
Nasser Daneshvary, who had been associate dean of the college and director of its MBA programs, now is serving as the university's associate provost for academic resources. He had spent 14 years as a member of the College of Business.
Following Daneshvary's move, marketing professor and chair Rich Lapidus became the college's associate dean for administration, while professor Mel Jameson, who had been coordinator of international business programs, assumed the role of associate dean for graduate programs. Both Jameson and Lapidus will continue to have some teaching responsibilities.
Finance professor Robert Chatfield will move into the role of director of MBA programs. He will be responsible for all aspects of the MBA programs, including the executive MBA.
Lisa Davis will become MBA programs recruiting director. She will be responsible for recruiting for all MBA programs, including the executive MBA program. She has spent six years with the college, working as undergraduate advisor, senior undergraduate advisor, and MBA recruiting director.
Sharon Fusco has transitioned back to the college's Nevada Small Business Development Center as program development and outreach manager.
