Lee Business School will honor the newest inductees into the Nevada Business Hall of Fame on April 4 at the Four Seasons Hotel.
Each honoree is highly respected, exemplifies business achievement and community leadership, and has contributed significantly to the state’s economic growth and prosperity.
The 2024 class of the Nevada Business Hall of Fame includes:
- Jan Jones Blackhurst, executive director of the UNLV Black Fire Leadership Initiative and former Las Vegas mayor (1991-1999) and executive with Caesars Entertainment
- William P. “Bill” Foley, business leader and philanthropist who founded the Foley Entertainment Group, which operates professional sports franchises (including the NHL’s Vegas Golden Knights), entertainment and hospitality venues, and charitable foundations
- William J. “Bill” Hornbuckle, CEO and president of MGM Resorts International and Chairman of MGM Grand Paradise SA, and Chair of the U.S. Travel and Tourism Advisory Board
“This year’s inductees have significantly impacted our state and are well deserving of the honor,” said Gerry Sanders, dean of Lee Business School. “Celebrating all they have accomplished with our business community will be a highlight of 2024 for Lee Business School.”
During the April 4 event, the Lee Business School will also recognize Daniel Lamarre, executive vice chairman of the board for Cirque du Soleil Entertainment Group, as the 2024 Lee Thought Leader.
