UNLV's Cannon Center for Survey Research is inviting businesses and researchers from around the state to participate in a national poll the center will be conducting in January.
"The UNLV 2001 National Omnibus Poll is intended to provide businesses and researchers the opportunity to have a few questions asked in a national poll without having to go to the trouble and expense of individual polls," said Thomas Lamatsch, director of the center.
"By pooling questions from multiple sources into a single poll, we're able to hold costs down significantly," he said. "While the poll will not be conducted until January, it's important that we hear from potential participants soon so that we can move forward with the survey design."
The survey design guarantees participants 1,000 responses in the United States. A scientific sample will be used.
Participants can develop their own questions and interpret their own results or have the center complete those tasks for them.
The Cannon Center for Survey Research is housed in UNLV's College of Liberal Arts.
