UNLV will host two open forums to gather input from members of both the university and Las Vegas communities on how to create a more inclusive and just campus environment.
The open forums, which are being sponsored by the President's Task Force for an Inclusive and Just Campus Environment, will be held from noon to 3 p.m. on both March 19 and March 21 in the Moyer Student Union on the UNLV campus.
Students, faculty, staff, and community members attending the forums will be asked to share their input by answering the following questions:
-- What does "an inclusive and just campus" mean to you?
-- How do you perceive the campus in terms of being an inclusive and just environment?
-- What suggestions do you offer for improvement?
The forums will be held in an effort to help the university more fully realize its goal of creating a more inclusive and just campus community, according to task force member Phil Burns. The task force is composed of students, faculty, and staff.
For more information on the forums, call Burns at 895-4076.
