WHAT: Step Up for Kids Day is a community resource event sponsored by the Every Child Matters in Nevada Campaign to raise awareness among Nevada voters of the critical issues facing Nevada's children and highlight community resources available to children and their families. Similar Step Up For Kids Day events are being held nationwide.

DETAILS: In addition to a barbecue and children's entertainment, representatives from community organizations such as Safe Nest, Communities In Schools and more will be on hand to share information with attendees about the variety of resources in Southern Nevada for children and their families.
