Dr. Brian Weiss, an internationally known psychiatrist and author, will present a public forum on past life regressions and reincarnation 7-9 p.m., Oct. 14, in UNLV's Flora Dungan Humanities Building, Room 109.

Weiss will be presenting along with Dr. Raymond Moody, the current holder of UNLV's Bigelow Chair of Consciousness Studies.

The author of the best-selling book "Many Lives, Many Masters," Weiss has studied past life regressions for many years and has conducted hundreds of subjects through hypnotic encounters in which they claim to have remembered previous reincarnations.

A Yale graduate and chairman emeritus of the department of psychiatry at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami, Weiss has authored two other books, "Healing Through Time" and "Only Love is Real."
