Information on the campus parking situation and plans for improvements will be presented at two forums set for Nov. 16 and 17 at 3 p.m. in Frank and Estella Beam Hall, Room 241.
Vice President for Student Life Rebecca Mills and Parking Services Manager Tom Hudak will give a brief history of the parking situation on campus, discuss parking issues and improvements, and explore solutions to problems. They will also field questions from members of the campus community.
Background information on parking will be available to students Nov. 13 in a number of campus locations, including the CSUN and Moyer Student Union offices, the library circulation desk, the deans' offices, and at the McDermott Physical Education Complex equipment room (Room 312). Faculty and staff members will receive the background information via campus mail before the forums as well.
"We hope that members of the campus community will review the background information ahead of time so that they will come to the forums prepared to offer their feedback," Mills said. "We want the campus to understand fully the kinds of problems we are facing and the solutions we are considering."
