UNLV is preparing to welcome the newest members to the Class of 2024 during its Winter Commencement.

- Tuesday, Dec. 17 at 4 p.m. (master’s, doctoral, and graduate certificates)
- Wednesday, Dec. 18 at 9 a.m. (undergraduates)

Details
UNLV expects to award more than 2,500 degrees during its winter 2024 commencement at the Thomas & Mack Center — an increase of about 15% over last year.
Class of 2024 graduates hail from 33 states/U.S. territories and 38 countries. Of the grads, 90% are Nevada residents, with 70% coming from ethnically diverse backgrounds.
The graduating class ranges in age from 19 to 74 – with an average age of 28. Since 1964, UNLV has awarded nearly 173,000 degrees.
In keeping with commencement tradition, UNLV President Keith E. Whitfield will highlight six graduating students for their outstanding academic and community achievements.
