UNLV will welcome the newest members to the Class of 2022 during its Winter Commencement. 

When

• Monday, Dec. 19 at 4 p.m. (master’s, doctoral, and graduate certificates)
• Tuesday, Dec. 20 at 4 p.m. (undergraduates)

More than 2,000 students will officially become UNLV alumni next week as they cross the Thomas & Mack Center stage during the university’s winter commencement.

The Class of 2022 hails from 36 states/U.S. territories and 40 countries, many are the first in their family to graduate from college, 88% are Nevada residents, and the majority – 70% – are from ethnically diverse backgrounds.

This year’s class ranges in age from 19 to 75 — with the average age of 27. Since 1964, UNLV has awarded more than 165,000 degrees.

UNLV President Keith E. Whitfield will highlight five graduating students for their outstanding academic and community achievements.
