UNLV radio station KUNV 91.5 FM announces the hiring of two staff members - a new development director and a new program director.

Janis Carter, a 20-year resident of Las Vegas, is the new development director. She is responsible for a variety of functions, including fund raising, marketing, promotions, grant writing, radio-thons, and special events.

"KUNV 91.5 FM is here to make a difference. It is the 'smart choice' in selective listening, and I want the community, old and new, to know it," Carter said.

UNLV graduate Doug Jablin, a former station employee, is returning to KUNV, this time as program director. He is currently revamping the 6 a.m.-10 a.m. programming to include a mix of jazz and eclectic rock.
