WHAT: Nevada System of Higher Education (NSHE) Chancellor James Rogers and UNLV President David Ashley will be among a host of higher education officials in attendance for the inaugural NSHE community town hall meeting.

WHEN: Monday, Oct. 16, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

WHERE: In the board room of the Thomas & Mack Center at UNLV.

NOTE: This first of its kind town hall meeting will provide community members an opportunity to voice their opinions about the current state of Nevada higher education and give them a chance to grade the performance of the NSHE. Representatives from NSHE institutions will also highlight recent accomplishments and share their future goals. Similar meetings will be held in Reno and Elko at a later date.
