The Nevada Small Business Development Center at UNLV will present a seminar concerning public accommodations training and the Americans with Disabilities Act on June 26.
The seminar will take place 8:30-11 a.m. in the Classroom Building Complex, Room C-224. The cost is $20. Participants must pay the registration fee no later than June 17 in order to receive a parking pass.
Seminar topics will include:
* Local, state, and federal resources
* What is a disability?
* Employment provisions
* Public accommodations
* A model plan for businesses to comply with ADA
* Tax credits and deductions
