UNLV's College of Business, in association with Deloitte & Touche, is now accepting nominations for the Nevada Business Hall of Fame.
Nominees should be prominent business leaders whose contributions have significantly enhanced the economic prosperity of Nevada and who have brought positive recognition to the state.
The deadline to submit nominations is Aug. 15. Forms are available on the Internet or by calling the College of Business at (702) 895-3362.
A nominating committee composed of business leaders from across the state will accept and review nominations. The UNLV College of Business Executive Advisory Board will make the final selection for 2004. The board members are business leaders in Nevada and represent a variety of industries.
"The Nevada Business Hall of Fame offers an opportunity to honor and learn from the men and women whose hard work, success, and leadership have made a tremendous impact on the lives of Nevadans," said College of Business Dean Richard Flaherty.
The inductees will be honored at a dinner banquet scheduled for Feb. 19. Contact the College of Business at (702) 895-3362 for information on available sponsorships and table sales.
The UNLV College of Business launched the Nevada Business Hall of Fame in 2001. Past inductees include Howard R. Hughes Jr., Irwin Molasky, William "Si" Redd, E. Parry Thomas, Claudine Williams, and Stephen A. Wynn.
