UNLV's College of Business, in association with Deloitte & Touche, is now accepting nominations for the Nevada Business Hall of Fame.
"The Nevada Business Hall of Fame offers an opportunity to honor and learn from the men and women whose hard work, success in business, and leadership have made a tremendous impact on the lives of those who live and work in Nevada," said College of Business Dean Richard Flaherty.
Nominees should be top business leaders whose contributions have significantly enhanced the economic prosperity of Nevada and who have brought positive recognition to the state.
A nominating committee composed of business leaders from across the state will accept and review nominations. The UNLV College of Business Executive Advisory Board, which includes leaders from a variety of industries, will make the final selection for the 2003 inductees.
The submission deadline is Sept. 9. The nomination form is available online. To request that a nomination form be faxed, call the College of Business at 702-895-3362.
The inductees will be honored at a dinner banquet tentatively scheduled for Feb. 20, 2003.
The Nevada Hall of Fame was launched in 2001 and inducted its first three members--William "Si" Redd, E. Parry Thomas, and Stephen A. Wynn--in February.
