"Motivating Safety at Work" will be the subject of a seminar scheduled for May 16 in Las Vegas.
Sponsored by the Safety Assistance Service division of the Nevada Small Business Development Center's Business Environmental Program, the seminar will take place 9 a.m.-noon in the Island Towers section of the Tropicana Hotel. The keynote speaker will be Ted Boyce, who is both the director of the Center for Behavioral Safety Research and an assistant professor at the University of Nevada, Reno.
Among the topics to be discussed are:

-- How to talk effectively about safety.
-- How to tell if a safety program is working.
