Mo Rocca, former correspondent for Comedy Central's "The Daily Show," and current host of Bravo's "Things I Hate About You," will deliver his unique brand of social commentary on March 10 at 7 p.m. in UNLV's Artemus W. Ham Concert Hall.

The event, sponsored by CSUN Student Government, is free with a valid ID to all UNLV students, faculty, and staff. Tickets for the public are $10 and will be available beginning March 1 at the Ham Hall Box Office at UNLV.

Rocca's presentation will be a blend of commentary on current news events with never-before-seen clips from "The Daily Show" and other television programs on which he appeared. He will also provide the inside story on the pivotal role of presidential pets in politics, borrowing from his popular book, "All the Presidents' Pets: The Story of One Reporter Who Refused to Roll Over." Rocca will be on hand for a book signing following the presentation.

Rocca holds a B.A. from Harvard University and was the former president of Harvard's Hasty Pudding Theatricals. He began his career in television as a writer for the PBS series "Wishbone," and went on to write for other children's series, including ABC's "Pepper Ann." Rocca's fame grew when he joined "The Daily Show," where his zany reporting on bizarre topics earned him a cult-like following. He currently appears regularly on many programs, including NBC's "Today" show, VH1's "Best Week Ever," and is a panelist on NPR's "Wait Wait...Don't Tell Me!"
