On Oct. 8 it will be possible to receive discounts shopping at Macy's while at the same time benefitting UNLV's Jean Nidetch Women's Center.
The women's center currently is selling $10 tickets for Macy's Annual Benefit Shopping Day, which will take place 10 a.m.-9 p.m. Oct. 8. The ticket entitles the holder to a 15 percent discount on most items. The ticket holder also will be registered to win a $1,000 shopping spree or the use of a Saturn car for a year.
Throughout the day there will be musical entertainment, fashion shows, cooking demonstrations, celebrity appearances, and children's events.
