Author Douglas Unger, an associate professor of English at UNLV, will be the first speaker in the new Lyceum Luncheon series sponsored by the University Library Society.
The first luncheon will take place from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Oct. 26 in the Boyd Dining Room on the UNLV campus. That room is located in Frank and Estella Beam Hall, the building that houses the William F. Harrah College of Hotel Administration.
Unger will speak about his book, "Leaving the Land," which garnered him a Pulitzer Prize nomination.
