Lori Temple, who has served as director of academic computing at UNLV, has been named the university's associate provost for information technology.
She will oversee the newly named Office of Information Technology. This office represents the integration of two existing offices -- Administrative Computing and Academic Computing. The merging of the two offices is effective Dec. 1.
The integration of Administrative Computing and Academic Computing is part of the reorganization made by UNLV President Carol C. Harter following the resignation of Norval Pohl, vice president for finance and administration.
