A Las Vegas business will be among the companies featured in the "America at Work" television series that will air via satellite at the Nevada Small Business Development Center at UNLV at 9 a.m. June 20.
Gotcha Covered Wholesale, a Las Vegas wholesale flower business run out of the cab of a truck, will be among the four companies highlighted in the episode about "Virtual Offices and Alternative Workplaces."
The show focuses on businesses that eliminate the need for traditional office settings through the use of technology. In addition to the Las Vegas company, other businesses featured will include an enterprise center in Philadelphia, a stevedoring company in Alaska, and a wholesale insurance brokerage in Washington.
The one-hour program is the fourth installment in the "America at Work" series produced by the Microsoft Corp. The series is part of Microsoft's overall program to help small businesses make decisions about using technology to run their companies.
