A delegation of 21 Japanese enamel artists, headed by well-known artist Toshiko Tanaka, will be at UNLV on Oct. 7 to display their works and answer questions.
The event, which is free and open to the public, will take place from 4-6 p.m. at the Donna Beam Fine Art Gallery. The artists are touring the United States and this will be their first visit to Las Vegas.
Tanaka's works can be found in the art collections of many heads of state and a piece was given to the pope by the Japanese government.
