UNLV is extending an invitation to the Southern Nevada community to attend the inauguration of Dr. Carol C. Harter as the university's seventh president.
The colorful academic event is set for Saturday, Oct. 21, 10 a.m., outdoors at the north end of the Academic Mall. In case of inclement weather, the ceremony will take place in Artemus W. Ham Concert Hall.
Following the official investiture ceremony and Dr. Harter's inaugural speech, guests will be invited to enjoy an open reception and musical entertainment on Pida Plaza in front of Moyer Student Union.
