High school student council leaders from around the state will gather at UNLV later this month for the Nevada Association of Student Councils Conference.
Approximately 425 students are expected to attend the four-day conference, which will begin at Chaparral High School on April 23 and then move to UNLV April 24-26.
The conference, which is intended to help students build leadership skills, has been titled "Take a Cruise on the Leadership." The student council at Chaparral is hosting the conference.
Phil Gugliuzza, executive director of student councils in Louisiana and director of the National Organization of Workshop Directors, will be the keynote speaker.
