UNLV will host a concert by the Elmshorn Brass Ensemble at 8 p.m. on Sunday, March 14 in Artemus Ham Concert Hall as part of their "I Have a Dream" USA Friendship Tour.
The group will perform German and American folk tunes, marches, and popular melodies. The concert is free and open to the public.
The 43-member ensemble, directed by Ralf Hagens, hails from Elmshorn, just north of Hamburg, Germany. They have performed throughout Germany and last visited the U.S. in 1998. Six years later, to celebrate their 10th anniversary, they will perform in Las Vegas.
