What
UNLV will host the Festival of Communities, a celebration of the rich cultural diversity of UNLV and the unique aspects of life in the Las Vegas Valley. The daylong event annually draws thousands of visitors and this year will feature more than 100 live musical and dance performances, international food booths, kid-friendly activities, craft and gardening exhibits, tips on green living, a farmer's market and a research symposium displaying undergraduate research and creative activities.

Saturday, April 21, 2012, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Organizations, performers, craft artisans, sustainability exhibitors, farmers and others who wish to participate are must register for a booths by 9 a.m. April 6.

Festival of Communities will host more than 150 student-led organizations, craft vendors and community groups including Lied Discovery Children's Museum, Boys & Girls Club of Southern Nevada, the Rebel Pride Council, Engineers Without Borders and Circle K International. Attendees are also encouraged to take a campus tour and stop by a symposium highlighting UNLV's undergraduate research.
Parking
Free parking is available for guests in spaces marked staff, student and metered. Guests may not park in reserved, handicap and resident spaces. Please visit UNLV campus map for additional parking info.
