The fourth annual "Eye on Women Expo," a day of activities of interest to women, will be held May 2 at the MGM convention center.

The expo, scheduled for 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m., is being sponsored by KLAS-TV, Channel 8. The $5 admission fee will benefit UNLV's Jean Nidetch Women's Center's re-entry program, which provides assistance to adults who are returning to college.

Seminars focusing on a wide range of women's issues will be offered. Some of the topics include interpersonal communication, menopause, college re-entry, abusive relationships, internet and computer skills, coming out for lesbians, breast cancer awareness, and infertility.

Nevada Attorney General Frankie Sue Del Papa will recognize the recipients of the Southern Nevada Women's Role Model Award.

The keynote speaker will be TV personality and author Dr. Barbara DeAngelis, who will give a motivational presentation. KLAS-TV 8 personalities will be on hand, and free drawings will be held throughout the day. Also, Macy's will present a spring fashion show.

Tickets are available at UNLV's Jean Nidetch Women's Center and at Macy's gift wrap counter. Two-for-one coupons are also available at Walgreen's stores in the area.
