Former President Bill Clinton's speech, delivered at UNLV on the evening of April 29, will be broadcast on Cable Channel 70 on May 14, 6-7:30 p.m. and May 19, 7-8:30 p.m.
Clinton spoke as part of the Barbara Greenspun Lecture Series, which is sponsored by the Greenspun family and UNLV's Greenspun College of Urban Affairs. The lecture was originally scheduled for the 3,100-seat Cox Pavilion at UNLV, but was moved into the Thomas and Mack Center when all of the free tickets were distributed in a short period. The Thomas and Mack Center was set up in a theater configuration and some 6,500 tickets were ultimately distributed.
Mr. Clinton's speech was videotaped for later broadcast for the benefit of those who were unable to attend the lecture.
