A group of citizens concerned about the future of Las Vegas will hold a Citizens Forum at UNLV on Sept. 28.
The event, which will take place 1-4 p.m. in the Classroom Building Complex, Room C-125, is being sponsored by the Las Vegas Valley League of Women Voters, UNLV's department of environmental studies, and Friends of the Las Vegas Valley.
The organizers are trying to form a coalition of citizens concerned about the quality of life in the community.
Among the concerns to be discussed are the crime rate, traffic, air pollution, and crowded schools.
