WHAT: Bubble-licious sparkling wine- and champagne-tasting event, part of thirty-third annual UNLVino, one of the largest wine- and champagne- tasting events in the country

WHEN: Thursday, April 12, from 7-10 p.m.

WHERE: Hard Rock Hotel, poolside

DETAILS: Bubble-licious will feature more than 30 world-class champagnes and sparkling wines served up poolside at the Hard Rock Hotel. Food vendors will offer samples of their products, and a live DJ will play music throughout the evening.

Guests will have an opportunity to watch local celebrities open a bottle of champagne in the traditional way: using the time-honored art of "sabrage" (opening a bottle with a saber). Additionally, Bob Boughner, president and CEO of Echelon Resorts, will be honored with a twenty-one cork salute, for his recent $1.2 million donation to the William F. Harrah College of Hotel Administration.
