The Beverly Rogers, Carol C. Harter Black Mountain Institute (BMI) at UNLV announces its spring calendar of in-person and virtual events. These public programs, beginning Feb. 22, are part of BMI’s mission of supporting a wide range of writers and storytellers in Las Vegas and the Southwest. These community programs are free to attend and open to everyone.
BMI’s live programs consist of mainstage events, readings by BMI fellows, the Breakout Writers Series curated by UNLV creative writing MFA students, book clubs, and collaborations with community partners. BMI’s virtual events bring together published writers and representatives of the publishing industry to discuss subjects relevant to developing writers.
