An art exhibit illustrating the various media and styles used by architecture students opened Tuesday (Oct. 21) at the Flamingo branch of the Las Vegas-Clark County Library District.
Offered through the UNLV School of Architecture in conjunction with the AIA Architecture Week in Nevada, the exhibit will be open to the public through Jan. 4.
The collection includes watercolor drawings, acrylic paintings, sketches, various model-making mediums, and computer-aided drawings. The idea of the exhibit is to show the different types of media and styles student architects use to express the ideas behind their works.
The library is located at 1401 E. Flamingo Road. The exhibit may be viewed 9 a.m.-9 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays, 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays, and 1 p.m.-5 p.m. Sundays.
