More than 300 local elementary, middle, and high school students will showcase their latest scientific discoveries and have their projects judged during the Beal Bank USA Southern Nevada Regional Science and Engineering Fair.

The Beal Bank USA Southern Nevada Regional Science & Engineering Fair promotes an interest in mathematics and scientific studies for students in the Clark County School District. Held at UNLV, the fair is organized and hosted by UNLV's College of Sciences.
The fair is divided into elementary (grades K-5), middle school (grades 6-8), and high school (grades 9-12) divisions and includes projects from a broad range of science and engineering disciplines. The winning high school entry will represent Nevada at the INTEL International Science and Engineering Fair May 13-18 in Pittsburgh.
Note: Media are invited to attend judging Friday, March 23 from 4-5:30 p.m. and March 30, from 7 a.m.-2 p.m.
The public viewing event on Saturday, March 31, is free and open to the public.
