UNLV's Center for Business and Economic Research will present its annual "Economic Outlook Conference" on Dec. 16 and 17. The same material will be presented each day.
At the conference, R. Keith Schwer, director of the center, and Mary Riddel, the center's associate director, will review current economic conditions and discuss the 2004 economic forecasts for Southern Nevada and the nation. The program will also include the first presentation and discussion of new indicators for Southern Nevada.
The conference will be held from 8-11:45 a.m. at the UNLV Foundation Building, located off of Maryland Parkway on Cottage Grove Avenue.
Before Dec. 9, the cost of registering for the event is $65; it will be $75 after that date. Parking is included. Registered participants will receive the publication Economic Outlook 2004.
