UNLV's 13th Annual Law School Forum will take place 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Nov. 14 in the lobby of the Artemus W. Ham Concert Hall.
The forum provides participants with a "one-stop-shopping opportunity" to speak with representatives of American Bar Association-approved law schools in the United States, according to Larry Strate, one of the event's organizers. Information on the William S. Boyd School of Law at UNLV will also be available.
The event is open to the public free of charge. All persons interested in law school, especially women and minorities, are encouraged to attend.
Participants will be able to talk directly with representatives from law schools across the nation, obtain catalogs and financial aid information, and learn what one should look for in a law school.
The forum is sponsored by UNLV, the Community College of Southern Nevada, and the Western Association of Pre-Law Advisors.
For more information, call Strate at UNLV at 895-3010 or Glynda White at CCSN at 651-5776.
