‘A long time coming:’ UNLV starts fall semester smoke-free
The school year is just getting started and big changes are already taking place at UNLV. As of this month, the university has officially become a smoke-free campus.
UNLV outlaws smoking on campus after more than a decade of trying
More than a decade after advocates started pushing for the change, UNLV this month joined more than 2,000 universities nationwide in becoming a smoke-free campus.

UNLV to become a smoke, vape-free campus by Aug. 15
The University of Nevada, Las Vegas will become a smoke-free campus beginning Aug. 15, the university announced Friday. The new policy will apply to all students, staff and faculty.
