Graduating high school at the start of a pandemic isn’t easy. Starting college during one can be even more of a challenge. Mary Josephine Altamira was eager to be on campus when in-person classes resumed her sophomore year. Networking with peers, getting involved in clubs, and volunteering were just a few ways the hospitality major dove straight into student life.
