This spring, UNLV welcomed more than 3,700 new graduates to the Rebel network at commencement.
"Earning a college degree is no small feat," UNLV President Keith E. Whitfield told the graduates. He went on to say, "Each of you has faced challenges both inside and outside the classroom, dealt with uncertainties that tested your resolve, and unsettling moments that demanded your resilience. Yet through it all, you have emerged victorious, standing here today as degree recipients of this esteemed university."
Since 1964, UNLV has awarded 176,442 degrees to alumni around the world.
The class of 2024 comes from 44 states and U.S. territories and 50 countries, but the majority (88%) are Nevada residents. They range in age from 19 to 76, and 66% report coming from ethnically diverse backgrounds.
