- 5,000+ wristbands distributed, 22 college and office booths, and 82 vaccines at the Rebel Homecoming Festival
- 26 cart floats, the Star of Nevada Marching Band, and 1 fire truck in the Scarlet and Grey Homecoming Parade
- 2 Rebel touchdowns at the Homecoming Football Game
- 20 alumni and community members honored at the Alumni Awards Dinner
- Thousands of priceless memories and photo opportunities
Competition Winners
Office Decoration
Fifteen offices across UNLV, including the Shadow Lane Campus, displayed UNLV pride during the 2021 Office Decoration Competition as a part of Rebel Homecoming 2021. The contest was sponsored by the Rebel Events Board.
First Place (Tie): School of Nursing
School of Nursing’s winning decorations used a “Nurse Avengers2: Rebels Return” theme complete with a movie viewing room and player cards highlighting student and faculty heroes and their powers and abilities.
First Place (Tie): Division of Philanthropy & Alumni Engagement
The Division of Philanthropy & Alumni Engagement’s winning decorations transformed the Foundation Building into a stadium complete with a ticket office, tailgating area, football field, and fan quotes highlighting UNLV students and alumni.
Runners Up
College of Sciences went back to the 1970s with a “Star Wars” theme and Integrated Graphic Services celebrated the 1990s with a “Friends” theme. Financial Aid & Scholarships featured a Hall of Fame while the office of Admissions celebrated UNLV’s 1990 Division I championship win.
