Exploring the intersection of race and graphic design. A memoir on LGBTQ families. A Guatemalan cookbook. These are just some of the first works being added to “Represent: UNLV’s Community Selected Collection” in the University Libraries.
Titles are currently being accepted from UNLV students, faculty, and staff for inclusion. The goal of Represent is to create a library collection that is representative of the diverse identities, cultures, and histories that make up the UNLV community.
There’s still time to contribute a suggestion for the Represent collection! The pilot phase of this donor-funded initiative is running through April 7. Members of the UNLV community can nominate a title for inclusion in the collection using the online form.
