The class of 2024 comes to us from 44 states/U.S. territories and 50 countries. Of the grads, 88% are Nevada residents, with 66% coming from ethnically diverse backgrounds.
The graduating class ranges in age from 19 to 73 – with an average age of 27. Since 1964, UNLV has awarded 176,442 degrees.
In keeping with commencement tradition, UNLV President Keith E. Whitfield will highlight six graduating students for their outstanding academic and community achievements.
- Security at the Thomas & Mack has been enhanced in coordination with local law enforcement. Doors will open 90 minutes before each ceremony to allow for necessary screening, and the venue’s bag policy will be in effect.
