UNLV's football team beat UNR Saturday and brought home the rivalry trophy, the Fremont Cannon. The cannon was paraded across campus from the Lied Athletic Complex and to outside the UNLV Student Union. Members of the football team's senior class then each took a turn with a paintbrush to transform the trophy from Wolf Pack blue to UNLV scarlet. The university's paint shop will finish the job before the Homecoming game, Nov. 2.
