Xia Li (Health Physics and Diagnostic Sciences) earned the 2014 Basic Science Abstract Award in the Medical Physics category from the American Society for Radiation Oncology (ASTRO). Regarded as the premier oncology society in the world, ASTRO bestows the Basic Science Abstract Award to the top three authors of significant abstracts about radiation physics. She will receive the award during ASTRO's annual meeting in September.
