Xan Goodman (Libraries) recently received the 2018 Ysabel Bertolucci Award for Professional Excellence from the Northern California and Nevada Medical Library Group (NCNMLG). 

Goodman is a member of the Academy of Health Information Professionals and a former American Library Association Spectrum Scholar, has served on several Medical Library Association sections and committees, and actively mentors other health science librarians. She has chaired NCNMLG elections and bylaws committees, and currently serves as the chapter's president.
