Among several participants in the Santa Barbara International Model United Nations competition from UNLV, three students placed. Isabella Aceituno received a verbal commendation in the Ad-Hoc committee, Alberto Lorio received honorable mention in Joint Crisis Defenders committee, and Zachary Walusek received a verbal commendation in Joint Crisis Pirates committee. Congratulations to each for their amazing work practicing and supporting international diplomacy worldwide and bringing home awards for UNLV.
