Tricia Gatlin (Nursing) participated in an interview on KGHD 87.7 FM radio (La Raza) with representatives from Women’s Health Associates of Southern Nevada Central (WHASN Central) discussing healthy eating during pregnancy and debunking the myth that pregnant women should eat for two. She is working with the health care providers and staff at WHASN Central to evaluate healthy weight gain during pregnancy among Latino women through a proper diet and exercise program. The goal is to reduce maternal risk for gestational diabetes and/or control blood glucose levels throughout pregnancy.
