Tricia Gatlin, Reimund Serafica, and Michael Johnson (Nursing) co-authored “Systematic Review of Peer Education Intervention Programmes among Individual with Type 2 Diabetes,” which appeared in the September issue of Journal of Clinical Nursing. The article explored new evidence that peer education can also be useful in achieving positive clinical outcomes such as decreasing HbA1c levels and increasing diabetes knowledge among patients with type 2 diabetes.
