Tina Vo (Teaching and Learning) and doctoral students/Holmes Scholars Adjoa Mensah (Teaching and Learning) and Mayra Marquez-Mendez (Educational Psychology, Leadership and Higher Education) were presenters at the Geological Society of America (GSA) Connects 2022 conference. Through the GeoPaths NSF Grant project headed by Pamela Burnley (GeoScience), they presented "Creating a Geoscience Education Community around local Geologic Phenomena to foster STEM Career Pathways" and "Professional Development Towards Fostering Community and High school Geoscience Efficacy guiding students to STEM careers."
