Timothy Erwin (English) recently was named a traveling lecturer for the Jane Austen Society of North America and will represent the organization at gatherings in Boise, Idaho; Tucson, Arizona; and Vancouver, British Columbia, this year. His Textual Vision: Augustan Design and the Invention of Eighteenth-Century British Culture (Bucknell, 2015), also was recently reissued in paperback. Additionally, he has seen two new publications into print, “Discourse and Period Style” in Eighteenth-Century Life (2016), and “Imagery” in The Oxford Handbook of British Poetry 1660-1800, edited by Jack Lynch (2016).
