Sales and marketing coordinator Taylor Cayro (Student Union and Event Services) presented at the 44th Annual ACCED-I Conference in Providence, Rhode Island, on "The Power of Why," a presentation that showcased how through Simon Sinek's Golden Circle and James Clear's Atomic Habits, the SUES Sales & Marketing team was able to develop the brand and identity of the Student Union as a memory-creation destination where Rebels reign, where communities unite, and where WE make it happen! Various marketing materials were presented that garnered positive comments from fellow institutions attending from across the United States and Canada.

At the Event Showcase, a separate presentation opportunity to highlight individual events that were completed in the prior year, Cayro was able to present on the 2023 Rebel Event Boards' Late Night Breakfast for which he was the event coordinator in 2023. Both presentations highlighted the hard work of the SUES team from reservations to sales and events, event operations, and facilities and custodial in facilitating the numerous memory-creation events that they help put on. Cayro would like to thank Jenn Gray, Carissa Dees, and Mike Bricker for their support getting him to the conference, an opportunity he is extremely grateful for.
