Tanviben Patel (Environmental and Occupational Health) recently was awarded the City of Las Vegas Cardiac Arrest Survivors Award on behalf of Las Vegas Fire & Rescue, honoring her tireless commitment to the Cardiac Arrest Registry to Enhance Survival (CARES) Registry and for saving lives in the community. She was recognized during the city's cardiac arrest survivors luncheon last month. The event celebrated those who survived a cardiac arrest and the groups that helped save them, including 911 dispatchers, paramedics, and firefighters.
